![]() It's importing much smaller in mm than 360 designed. Should be easily enough to open by any program that supports DXF, right? Maybe this IGEMs software needs it to come from something else other than 360?Įdit1: I've downloaded the trial for IGEMS and it seems it needs to be on the XY plane, which after I did that, the software opened it. What am I doing wrong? It's just a simple 2D hole pattern within a rectangle. I've exported the DXF to my local drive, then did File>Open in 360 on that DXF and it gave me a warning that the DXF had 3D geometry that it ignored, and only imported the 2D geometry. They replied back saying that one didn't work either. By default, a bar scale tool created that way will have the same layer key, layer overrides, symbol, attribute text style, and attribute text angle as the original tool that was used to create the annotation. I had another component within the drawing that I think may have been messing with their import, so I started from scratch with a new design and did it on the XZ plane (other drawing was on XY). Note: Bar scales that have been inserted with a bar scale tool can be modified in the drawing and saved back as a tool on a tool palette. ![]() Once I knew the measurements worked, I then reached out to a local waterjet cutting company and they needed it as a DXF so I exported what I had and when they imported the dimensions were just way off they said. I had first created a prototype to 3D print as a jig to help me to manually drill the holes as precisely as possible with my drill. 3D Design Suite: The Autodesk functionality for 3D design allows you to open your electrical circuits and boards in native mechanical CAD platforms and check. ![]() ![]() I'm working with a small local waterjet cutting place to cut a specific hole pattern in a steel AV rack shelf. Hoping to find someone familiar with IGEMs or know how I can get a DXF that will work. ![]()
